In addition to the flat head that is hit, the peg has a plastic part with a hook to which a line or rope can be attached. The small plastic holder is therefore not damaged when hitting it.
Driving in the herring or peg can be done with a normal hammer. The impact time depends on the ground.
The length is 25cm, the diameter of the steel is 8mm. The steel is galvanized and is therefore protected against rusting.
